Greased Lightning Cycles is commited to promoting a better means of personal transport - leading to a NICE (No Internal Combustion Engine) world to live in. We actively promote and encourage the use of electric bicycles as a means of transport. Furthermore, we believe that there is a social responsibility to assist people back into a more physical way of life. Obesity is a fact of life for many people, and electric bikes are a great way to gently return to an exercise regime.
Electric bicycles are clean, virtually silent, quick, and have no need for huge parking areas. Their light weight does minimal damage to the road surfaces, and they are a safe and convenient way to travel
Our Safety pedals use a human powered generation system, and the lights fitted to the Wisper and Freego Electric bikes are driven off the main battery system
We actively support rec-cycling, and all of our electric bicycle batteries are Lithium Polymer, and as such are readily and easily recyclable. We will offer a £50.00 refund for any Wisper battery returned to us for exchange.
All of our bicycles are delivered in bio degradeable cardboard cartons.
