This is what some of our customers have to say about their electric bicycles:
I commute 20 miles a day on my Freego folding bike—from Twickenham to Edgware Road—and get to work 20 minutes quicker than it takes by train and tube. I also save almost £200 a month, meaning the bike will pay for itself in five months and save me £3,000 within two years. The electric motor allows me to zoom along at 15mph, barely touching the pedals—even uphill. I don't even need a shower when I get to work. But I do also get a gentle workout that leaves me feeling fit and healthy by the end of the week.
The best and cheapest way to commute in London I have found (and, God knows, I've tried car, bus, tube, scooter etc etc).

"I thought that I would just update you regarding how I am getting on with my Wisper 905se City Sport Electric Bike.
I've now owned the bike for about 4 weeks, and it's been really great. You may recall that I suffer from a quite serious and chronic chest complaint, which leaves me breathless, even after walking a short distance on the level.
As such, cycling, which I have always enjoyed, became almost too difficult to participate in.
However, since investing in the Wisper I can say that its opened up a whole new "world" of enjoyment. In particular I can now cycle further and with confidence, knowing that if I struggle, I can, with one simple and safe hand movement, bring in the electric motor to help me, especially on gradients.
I am now able to cycle with my Daughter and Grandaughter, who sits on her own seat on my daughter's bike - an experience I could never have enjoyed without my electric bike. I've also been contacted by a cyclist with similar problems to myself, and have taken an interest in a local group's attempts to get the local byelaws changed and thus allow cycling on the promenade, which is the case currently in two nearby coastal towns.
Finally I can't stress enough how my electric bike has changed so many aspects of my life, including keeping a level of fitness and improving my health.
As such, it's without doubt one of the best investments I've made - ever.
Best Wishes",

You supplied me with a bike a few weeks back, and have been delayed on feedback. I have three electric bikes, (Ezee Torq, Silverado folding) and the Wisper is definitely the most comforatble to ride. One of the first items I did change was the handle bar grips, from the harder rubber to foam, which I believe provides more shock absorbing quality, but is a personal preference. I use it frequently to travel up to work, between 12-14 miles one way, and also occasionally to get to Weybridge, approx 8 miles one way. Electric bikes definitely give you freedom, and help me especially as I do work long days, and would be too tired to cycle a regular bike. I am also looking to fit a generator light set (www.freelights.co.uk) which do not require batteries, and have used on other bikes to great success.

You might remember my buying a FreeGo ‘Eagle’ from you. I have been enjoying it greatly. The capacity to pull a laden trailer has impressed me and been in daily use, making an otherwise difficult journey both possible and a pleasure.

Just a short e-mail to let you know I was out and about on my new Wisper 905se Sport this Sunday, and what a Hoot! It is comfortable, so easy to use, and after a 10 mile journey I really didn't want to get off the machine.
I love the styling and the assist mode is not so intrusive that it spoils the ride - on the contrary, it's always there to give you just enough shove to make me smile - and my pal riding behind me on a normal non-assisted bicycle wishing he had one too.
Thank you once again for all your advice and assistance in choosing my Wisper and I will have no hesitation in recommending Greased Lightning Cycles to anyone thinking of buying an electric bicycle.
